Katie is an operations leader with over 25 years of experience across the pharmaceutical manufacturing and supply chain industry. Her experience began at Mylan Pharmaceutical, a local company founded by Milan Puskar in Morgantown WV. As an intern at Mylan, Katie grew and developed skills in the manufacture of small molecule medicines that lead to future opportunities in the biotech industry including the launch of rare disease drugs for critical patient populations and the delivery of novel cell therapies to battle cancer. During the Covid-19 Pandemic, Katie led the startup and global commercial manufacturing of Johnson and Johnson’s Covid vaccine where she delivered over 1 billion vaccine doses to patients in need.

Katie holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from West Virginia University and was part of the WVU Women’s Volleyball team where she earned Big East academic honors. She continues to enjoy playing indoor and sand volleyball in her local community. In addition, Katie is passionate about community service both locally and globally and she volunteers around the world in improvised communities to teach English as a second language. Katie is a proud mother of two sons, Cooper and Hudson, and a daughter, Ryann. She resides in Napa, CA.
