John Ramsey, a native of Monongah, West Virginia, is a visionary leader known for his deep commitment to both his home state and the global energy sector. Growing up in a coal mining family, John’s strong work ethic and values of loyalty and responsibility were shaped by his small-town roots. After earning a degree in chemical engineering from West Virginia University, he embarked on a successful career that spanned the globe, working with Dow Chemical and later URS Corporation on major energy and engineering projects across countries like Russia, China, and Saudi Arabia. Despite international opportunities, John chose to remain in West Virginia, focusing on economic development and energy initiatives to drive technological advancement and job creation within the state.
Currently serving as Senior Vice President of Energy Programs at KeyLogic, John oversees the company's energy and environmental portfolio, leading over 500 staff in over thirty states. His leadership has been instrumental in advancing energy solutions and strengthening the company’s position in the energy sector, including securing high-profile clients and driving significant growth. In addition to his professional accomplishments, John is committed to his community, serving on multiple local boards, coaching youth sports, and contributing to initiatives aimed at fostering innovation in West Virginia. With his dedication to both technological advancement and community service, John Ramsey exemplifies the power of leadership rooted in a deep commitment to family, place, and service.
